Whether you are rightsizing, relocating, commuting or simply seeking a more effortless lifestyle, St Michael’s Mews offers an attractive opportunity to enjoy beautifully considered living in the centre of a thriving historic town.
Pershore – a Georgian riverside town rich in history and character
Pershore has long been known for its distinctive architecture, independent spirit and vibrant community atmosphere – a “Gem” town. It is one of only fifty-one ‘gem’ towns designated nationally by the Council for British Archaeology. Its delightful Georgian architecture, significant historic buildings, riverside setting and intrinsic ‘English’ character make Pershore the perfect example of an English market town.
Located on the River Avon in the Vale of Evesham, the town is centred around a Benedictine monastery founded in 689 AD. The imposing Pershore Abbey remains as a testimony to the vision of those early Christian monks. Abbey Park, the town’s largest formal open space is connected to St Michael’s Mews by St Andrews Gardens – a tranquil urban space planted in 2025 by RHS students at Pershore College.
Pershore is surrounded by beautiful scenery that is rich in wildlife, with its wetlands and meadow habitats. Naturally flat, scenic terrain along the River Avon, taking in the Pershore Bridges, makes for easy walking, whilst ancient woodland at Tiddesley Wood covers gently sloping hillsides.
A 15-minute town
Pershore is a true “15-minute town” with everything on the doorstep. Supermarkets, specialist shops, dozens of independent retailers, pubs, restaurants and cafes, as well as three good primary schools, a secondary school (Pershore High School), a community hospital and two medical practices - all within easy reach.
From morning coffee to weekend markets, to bars, galleries and riverside walks, life here is shaped by convenience, culture and connection.
At St Michael’s Mews, everything is close at hand.
St Michael’s Mews is moments from:
- Independent cafés, bars, pubs and restaurants
- Boutique shopping
- Historic streets and green spaces
- Pershore Abbey
- The River Avon
- Transport links at Pershore and Worcester Parkway railway stations

Pershore living is defined by experience, not distance.
There is no shortage of community life in the town.
Not only are there year-round theatre, music, and art events, but the seasons, too, are clearly marked in the town’s annual calendar. The Georgian Christmas Fayre, the Carnival in June, July’s River Festival and August’s Pershore Plum Festival make the town a favourite place to visit all year round.
Pershore is located at the heart of Worcestershire and the UK.
